ABOUT ME

Hello, Thank you for visiting my website and I hope you will continue visiting to see my updates as I continue my career in makeup.
I'm from a teeny tiny town called Moberly, Missouri and have been into makeup since a very young age. When I was 8 years old a family friend turned me into Freddy Kruger for Halloween with gelatin and fake blood. I instantly thought this was the coolest thing ever!
Years later when I was in High School I decided I would take a crack at acting in the school play. Well, I auditioned, and I SUCKED! However, the teacher in charge thought I should try doing makeup instead. So she taught me to do old age makeup and I loved doing it so much that I practiced on everyone who would let me. Then Halloween came around and I started doing friends' makeups and makeup at the local haunted house. But, around the point of graduation I didn't think that a Makeup Artist was an actual career choice. But, I was very interested in film making so I moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College Chicago to learn to be a Director.

But, I sucked at that too. I actually changed my major twice before I settled on Film/Video. I like making films but I didn't know what part I wanted to do. Until one magical night, a friend showed up at a party looking like her throat was slit. She told me how there were makeup classes I could take at CCC. So the next semester I registered for makeup classes and continued taking them until I graduated with a BA in Film/Video. But I wanted to further my education in Makeup Artistry so I packed a bag and moved to California to attend Makeup Designory. I had never been to California before, but I knew I wanted to do makeup in the film industry and that's where I needed to be.

After graduating I hit the ground running and have never looked back. I have worked on films, print, live events, and commercials. When I'm not working I'm finding more ways to further my skills.
